The Mythbuntu 8.04.1 was released Monday July 14th, 2008.

If you have trouble downloading any of these, please disable NoScript and/or Adblock Plus for Google Analytics & mythbuntu.org temporarily.

You should generally download the Desktop version unless you run into trouble or need a more advanced feature during install such as LVM.

Mythbuntu 7.10

Mythbuntu 7.10 was released on Monday, October 22, 2007. Images are no longer available for i386 and amd64. Please use the current version instead.

Upgrading to 8.04

Since we strive to include all changes directly in Ubuntu, upgrading an existing box to a newer Mythbuntu release will just be a matter of following the standard upgrade process as described on http://ubuntu.com/getubuntu/upgrading.
The upgrade procedure will only upgrade Mythbuntu packages if you don't have a Gnome or KDE desktop installed.

Mirrors

We currently have arrangements with multiple providers to mirror the ISO images. If you can provide web hosting and would be interested in mirroring them, contact us at ubuntu-mythtv@lists.ubuntu.com or #ubuntu-mythtv-dev. We can get a weekly rsync set up after the ISO builds.
